meerir Joins ResilienX-Led BVLOS Initiative at Battle CreekUnlimited

Oklahoma City, OK — January 28, 2026—meerir today announced its role as a key subcontractor to ResilienX on the Battle Creek Unlimited (BCU) Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) initiative in Michigan. The project supports the deployment of a Ground-Based Sense and Avoid (GBSAA) system to enable safe, scalable advanced air mobility and uncrewed aircraft operations, while advancing a new model for airspace intelligence–driven decision making.

Under the agreement, meerir is supporting early-phase readiness activities focused on

shared understanding, stakeholder alignment, and community trust—helping ensure that technical deployment is grounded in local context and public benefit from the outset. As part of this work, meerir ai will serve as the analytic and communication layer for the project, translating complex airspace, safety, and operational data into clear, human-readable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. This includes

stakeholder engagement, regional readiness synthesis, and foundational use-case framing aligned with GBSAA capabilities. “Scaling BVLOS operations requires more than sensors and systems—it requires clarity,” said Craig Mahaney, CEO of meerir. “By building an airspace intelligence decision making platform, we’re helping communities, operators, and partners build a shared understanding of the airspace and make informed decisions early, when those decisions matter most.”

The effort complements ResilienX’s Secure Data Exchange (SDX) and surveillance

infrastructure by providing context, synthesis, and engagement tools that support informed decision-making across stakeholders. Together, the teams are helping lay the groundwork for an airspace intelligence ecosystem that connects data, people, and decisions.

“BVLOS success depends on aligning technology, safety, and people,” said Andrew Carter, CEO of ResilienX. “meerir brings a unique ability to translate complex operational data into insight that resonates beyond engineers—supporting early engagement, trust, and readiness as we work with Battle Creek Unlimited to enable advanced operations.”The Battle Creek Unlimited initiative is part of a broader effort to establish Michigan as a

national leader in advanced air mobility and uncrewed systems by pairing technical

infrastructure with thoughtful, community-aware deployment strategies.
